 The Tervis Tumbler was developed in 1946 by two Detroit engineers. They developed a double walled tumbler and permanently sealed it using the properties of air. It kept hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. Their last names were Cotter and Davis, using the last three letters of their name, the name Tervis was born for these wonderful tumblers. The tumblers also have several other great features - they don't sweat, they are microwaveable, freezer and dishwasher save, they float, they don't break and they are guaranteed for life!
The Tervis Tumbler comes in five sizes. We carry all of the sizes in our store and on our website except the 10 ounce (it is not a big seller for us)
